Shri Rajnagar Teerth located in Rajasthan is a Jain pilgrimage centre. The teerth kshetra is situated in on hill on the chief Highway of Kankroli. The temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Rishabh Dev, the first Jain Tirthankara.
History of Shri Rajnagar Teerth
According to history Shri Rajnagar Teerth dates back to the ancient times. This city has been named after Maharana Rajsinh. As per reference this teerth belongs to the Mewar group of five teerths. The attractive nine storied temple has been built by Maharana Rajsinh`s advisor, Dayalshah Oswal Sanghvi. The temple was installed at the auspicious hands of the revered hands of Acharya Vinay Sagar Surji in the year 1932 of the Vikram Samvat Era. The temple was later destroyed by King Aurangzeb. Presently only two stories of the temple can be seen. Under the temple, there are cellars. It is said that the Tera sect originated here.
The idol of Lord Mahavira is believed to possess miraculous powers. Thousands of Jains and non Jains from far off places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is believed that if prayed with all devotion the Lord fulfils the wishes of the pilgrims.

The temple of Shri Rajnagar Teerth houses the idol of Bhagwan Rishabh Dev. The Swetambara temple has been magnificently decorated with intricate artistic designs. The creative temple work boast about the skills of the craftsmen. The walls and pillars of the temple are adorned with specimens of ancient art and paintings. The temple faces the four directions. The idol of the Lord is 150 cm in height and is white in colour. It is seated in a padmasana posture. The idol has been beautifully carved from a single stone and looks very appealing. The smiling face of the Lord looks very calm and serene. Apart from this there is another temple dedicated to Lord Suvidhanath. The temple also looks exquisite and is worth visiting. Apart from this there is place named Navchoki that is located between the palace hill and this hill. The hill is also known as Dayal Shah`s fort.
The Temple of Shri Rajnagar Teerth organises many annual gatherings and functions. Every year a fair is held here on the sixth day of the month of Bhadrapada. There are provisions for dharamshalas or rest houses for the pilgrims. These are well equipped with all modern facilities. Apart from this there are Upashrays, an Ayambilshala and a Jnanabhandar.
