Shree Bhagavati Temple , North Goa
Shree Bhagavati Temple at Parshem: This temple is situated at a distance of 7 kms from Pernem in Pernem Taluka in North Goa. The total complex has five temples, main temples being of Shri Bhagavati, and other temples are of Shri Sateri, Shri Dev Ravalnath, Shri Dev Bhivangi Panchakshari & Brahma i.e. Shri Vishnu, Shri Ganapati, Shri Shankar. Devi Bhagavati temple has two Deepstambhas, unique of its kind. The main festivals that are celebrated at this place are Dassehra and annual Zatra.

Shree Bhagavati temple is situated by the side of the main road. This road is more than 500 years old. At the entrance of this temple there ere two-life size images of elephants, made of black stone standing on either side to welcome the devotees. This temple is the abode of the Goddess Bhagavati Asthbhuja, who is in a standing position on a high pedestal. Dussehra is celebrated with gaiety from Ashwin Shuddha Pratipada to Poornima. At that time more than 25 thousand devotees assemble at the temple.
