Shahabad is a municiupal city in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, located at 27.65 degree North and 79.95 degree East. Shahabad has also a Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha seat.

Shahabad in Uttar Pradesh is historical site of the Tomb of Diler Khan, a Governor in the time of the ruler of Mughal Dynasty, Aurangzeb. There are also many Hindu temples and Mosques such as Sankta devi temple, Balaji temple and Baram Baba temple.
