Seemab Valley is located very near to the Kupwara city, the district headquarter of Kupwara District of Jammu and Kashmir.

Seemab Valley is about 4 kilometers from the tourist reception centre at Kupwara. Seemab Valley is located at the entrance of the Lolab Valley.

The climatic conditions in Seemab Valley are cold throughout the year and even the summers here are not so hot. The best time to visit Seemab Valley is from the month of April to October because of the suitable climate.

Seemab Valley has a natural charming beauty and a perennial water body by the name of Daal Kul. Seemab Valley is surrounded by lush green forests and therefore provides ample scope for day picnics. Few adventure related activities like rock climbing and trekking can also be considered while visiting this place.

Krusan Lolab is the beautiful village located in proximity to the Halmatpora and is renowned for housing the Syed Bengal Sahib Shrine, where people offer prayer to get themselves protected from natural calamities. It is believed that Shyed Bengal Sahib was among the Syeds who arrived in the medieval Kashmir, which is now referred as Kashmir Valley in Jammu and Kashmir along with Shah Hamdan. The village is famous for its breath taking natural beauty, lakes and lush green areas.

To visit Seemab Valley, one needs to reach Kupwara. The nearest airport is located in Srinagar in Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir, at an approximate distance of 82 kilometres and the nearest railway station is located in Jammu, at a distance of 226 kilometres from the town of Kupwara.
