Sathyabama UniversityThe genesis of Sathyabama University lies on Sathyabama Engineering College. The College was under the aegis of Jeppiaar Educational Trust and famous for modern facility and excellent placements. In 2001 the University was declared as the deemed university under the under section (3) of the UGC Act. The main objective of the University is to promote technical education in Tamil Nadu. The campus of the university occupies 350 acres of land and contains over125 class rooms, departmental libraries, laboratories, drawing halls, hostels, audio visual halls, dining halls and sports facility.

The University runs a spectrum of courses through the departments of Computer Science And Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics And Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Control Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Bio -Technology, Bio-Medical, Bio-Informatics, Management Sciences, Computer Application, Electronic Sciences, Aeronautical Engineering ,Visual Communication. The University offers Postgraduate courses for employed persons and certificate courses in various disciplines. The University conducts an exceptional evaluation test for the teacher.
