Location of Sathodi Falls
Sathodi Falls in Karnataka is located at a distance of 32 kilometers from Yellapur. This place lies in Uttara Kanada where several other streams join to form this gorgeous waterfall. The waterfall is situated approximately 535 km from Bangalore, 72 km Kumta and 225 km from Dabolim (Goa). These falls form an integral part of the Ganeshgudi forest range.

Attractions of Sathodi Falls
Visiting this waterfall is truly a rejuvenating experience as it is enveloped by soothing greenery. The waterfall is formed by several unnamed streams near Kallaramarane Ghat, Uttara Kannada District, near Sirsi, and 32 km from Yellapur. The waterfall falls down from a height of 15 meters. As it touches the ground, it flows towards the backwaters of Kodasali Dam and finally mergers into it. The picturesque beauty of the place makes it a popular picnic spot. It presents a great view when one sees it cascading down from a mountaintop with lush green hills as its backdrop. The fact that it is nestled in the midst of a dense forest adds to the stillness of the surroundings. This makes it a perfect place for the peace lovers. Early winter and late monsoon season is the ideal time to visit this place. The nearest airport is in Dabolim and the closest railhead is in Kumta. From both the airport and railhead, one can easily hire car services to reach the spot.
