Sarjekot Fort, MaharashtraSarjekot Fort is an old military fortification located in the Arabian Sea close to the Malvan town in Sindhudurg District of Maharashtra. Sarjekot Fort and Kolaba Fort bear the same history with them. This fort was built on rocks to secure the strategic position of it. The fort houses five bastions and stone walls encircling it. The entrance of the fort faces Kolaba Fort. There is a well inside the fort campus.

Visiting Information on Sarjekot Fort
The fort is situated near the Alibaug beach. Alibag is 95 km from Mumbai. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport are the nearest to reach the fort. National Highway 53 connects Mumbai to other major parts of India.
