Test Cricket Career of Sanjay Manjrekar
Sanjay Manjrekar, appeared for the first time in Test cricket, in the India vs. West Indies, held at Delhi, from November 25th to 29th, 1987. In the first innings of the first Test of this series, he could obtain a minimal 5 runs, and in the second innings, unfortunately he retired after being injured. He has played 37 Test matches and scored a total of 2043 runs, with a highest score of 218 and average of 37.14. His last Test match was against South Africa, held at Ahmedabad, in November 20th to 23rd, 1996.

Manjrekar`s One-Day International debut in the India vs. West Indies at Rajkot on January 5th, 1988, was not at all impressive. Removal of Sanjay Manjrekar
