In April 1998, this player from India made her international debut for her native country in a friendly against Germany (0-2). She played in two positions: as a midfielder or as a centre forward. She was named Young Player of the Tournament at the 2001 World Cup Qualifier. Throughout her hockey career she has participated in the following tournaments. They are:
