Sangeetha Krish or Sangeetha Arvind Krish is an Indian film actress who predominantly works in South Indian movies. She is also a model and playback singer. Sangeetha is more popular as "Rasika" in Malayalam movie industry. She made her acting debut in the mid-90s. She is known for films like "Khadgam", "Pithamagan", "Uyir" and "Dhanam".
Early Life of Sangeetha Krish
Sangeetha Krish was on born 21 October 1978 in Chennai to Arvind and Bhanumathy. Sangeetha"s grandfather, K. R. Balan, is a film producer. He had produced more than 20 Tamil films. Her father too had produced several films. Sangeetha received her education from St. John`s, Besant Nagar. She also learnt Bharatanatyam during her school days.
Film Career of Sangeetha Krish
Sangeetha Krish stepped in the glamour industry in the late 1990s pairing with Telugu comedian Ali. She mainly appeared in low-budget films until her role in Telugu movie "Khadgam", alongside Ravi Teja in 2002. Later, she went on to work with Vikram, Surya Sivakumar and Laila in the National Award winning "Pithamagan". Her next ventures were "Uyir", "Kaalai" and "Evano Oruvan". In "Uyir", she essayed the role of a possessive woman wanting her brother in law while in "Kaalai", she portrayed a minuscule role. In "Evano Oruvan", she acted opposite Madhavan. Her last film in Tamil before marriage was "Dhanam". The film made her earn lots of rave reviews.
Television Career of Sangeetha Krish
In television, Sangeetha mainly appeared as judge of various reality shows. She has judged Vijay TV`s hit show "Jodi No.1". She was one of the three judges along with Silambarasan and Sundaram in "Jodi No.1" Season 2; with S.J. Suryaah and Sundaram in "Jodi No.1" Season 1; with Jeeva and Aishwarya Dhanush in "Jodi No.1" Season 3. She was a guest judge during the finals of Vasantham Central`s Indian dance competition "Dhool". The competition was organized in Singapore in 2008.
