Sai Tamhankar, Indian ActressSai Tamhankar is an Indian Actress who predominantly appears in Marathi films. She has also worked in a few Hindi films including Aamir Khan"s Ghajini and Subhash Ghai"s Black & White. She has earned a number of awards for her performances in Marathi film industry. Sai is the first Marathi Actress to get featured twice on Femina Magazine"s cover page.

Early Life of Sai Tamhankar
She was born on 25th June 1986 at Sangli in Maharashtra, India. She attended Chintaman College of Commerce, Sangli.

Career of Sai Tamhankar
Sai started acting when she was still in college. At that time she used to participate in street plays and inter-college drama competitions. She took up acting as a career after earning the Best Actress Award for her play, "Aadhe Adhure". Her first break came for a Marathi serial, which opened more doors for her. It was during the award ceremony of her play that she was offered a major role in the marathi sitcom `Ya Gojirvanya Gharat`. Her other Marathi serials include Agni Shikha and Sathi Re. In addition to Marathi serials, Sai has also worked in Balaji"s "Kasturi".

In 2008, she bagged a chance to work with Aamir Khan in Ghajini (Hindi) and Subhash Ghai in Black & White (Hindi). While shooting for "Black and White", she was offered the lead role in Shreyas Talpade"s Marathi production Sanai Choughade. In 2009, she worked in two Marathi movies including Haay Kaay....Naay Kaay and Be Dune Saade Char. In the following year, she worked in three projects which are Ajab Lagnachi Gajab Gosht, Mission Possible and Rita. In 2011, again she had three releases including Zhakaas, Raada Rox and Don Ghadicha Daav.

Sai Tamhankar, Indian Actress Her next release in 2012 was detective thriller Pune 52 opposite Girish Kulkarni. In the same year, she appeared in films like Ashaach Eka Betawar, Gajrachi Pungi, Villa (Hindi), No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahey, Aaghor, Baburao La Pakdaa, and Dhagedore. In 2013, she appeared in films like Balak Palak, Zapatlela 2, Duniyadari, Time Please, Anumati, Magalashtak Once More and Tendulkar Out.

The year 2014 saw her in films like Guru Purnima, Por Baazar, Pyaar Vali Love Story, Postcard and Sau Shashi Deodhar. In Sou Shashi Deodhar, she was starred along with veteran actor Ajinkya Deo. In 2015, she worked in Classmates, Tu Hi Re and in one Hindi film titled Hunterrr.

Sai is known for playing bold and modern women roles as seen in movies like Mangalshtaka Once More, No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahey and Hunterrr.

Sai tied the knot with Amey Gosavi, a VFX specialist, on 15th December 2013.
