He has a clear style of left hand batting and he also played well as a right arm off break bowler. Sadagoppan Ramesh has a batting average of over 50 in his first six tests. He also proved that he could easily play against top bowlers; he did not convert his starts into big scores.

Domestic Career of Sadagoppan Ramesh
Sadagoppan Ramesh played in national level cricketer from Indian state Tamil Nadu. He also played domestic cricket for Kerala during 2005 to 2006, 2006 to 2007 seasons. He also played for Assam in the 2007-2008 seasons.

Sadagoppan Ramesh is the first Indian cricketer to take a wicket off his first ball in One Day International Cricket in Indian Cricket Team. He was discarded from Indian International Team after India"s tour of Sri Lanka when Ramesh passed 30 runs in 5 out of the 6 innings but only one innings was converted to a 50. On 13th April 1999, he received his international career first ever award of "Man of the Match" against Pakistan.

Later, Sadagoppan Ramesh showed his creative performances as a Tamil actor. He has acted in a Tamil movie, “Santosh Subramaniam” in 2008. He also played a lead actor for the first time in the movie “Potta Potti” in 2011.
