Early Life of Romeo Fernandes
Romeo Fernandes was born on 6th July in the year 1992 in Assolna region of Goa. He is an Indian footballer who plays as a Winger for I-League club Dempo, mainly on the right side of midfield.

Career of Romeo Fernandes
Romeo Fernandes was scouted by Dempo Youth Team scout Joaquim Crasto in 2010. Romeo Fernandes was a key player for the Dempo Sporting Youth Teams at U18, U19 and U20 levels. Eventually Dempo Sporting Clubloaned Romeo Fernandes out to Margao SC, Goa in the Goa Second Division where Romeo helped Margao SC to promote to the Goa Professional League. After one season at Margao SC, Romeo Fernandes moved back to Dempo Sport Club and made his debut for the side during the 2011-12 I-League.

Romeo Fernandes then grabbed his first I-League assist for Dempo Sporting Club on 28th November in the year 2012 against Mohun Bagan Athletic Club to provide the first goal for the club which was scored by Joaquim Abranches in the 40th minute of the game; Dempo Sporting Club went on to win the match 3-0.

Romeo Fernandes with Football Club Goa in 2014 Indian Super League
Fernandes joined Goa Football Club on loan for the 2014 Indian Super League season. On 22nd November, Romeo Fernandes scored his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over Pune City, starting in place for the injured Robert Pirès and opening the scoring in the fifth minute with a glancing header. On the 1st of December Fernandes again found the net in the 33rd minute, opening the scoring in a 3-0 against North East United FC. It also happened to be the 100th goal in Indian Super League history. He scored his third goal for the FC Goa scoring the first goal in a 3-1 away win at Chennaiyin FC, the latter`s first home defeat of the season. Fernandes` impressive performances have led to high praise from FC Goa coach and Brazilian legend Zico as well as interest from abroad and talk of joining Brazilian team Clube Atlético Paranaense in the future.

Romeo Fernandes with Dempo Sporting Club
On 29th December, Roma Fernandes scored on his return for Dempo Sporting Club in the group stage of the 2014 to 2015 Indian Federation Cup, heading in the only goal of the game from Tolgay Ozbey`s cross in the 40th minute. Romeo Fernandes scored his second goal of the 2014-15 Indian Federation Cup against Sporting Goa during a 4-1 win. He had a fantastic 2014-15 Indian Federation Cup group stage, scoring 4 goals in 4 group stage games. Romeo started Dempo`s first game of the 2014-15 I-League but was injured early on in the game and replaced.

Romeo Fernandes in International Football Arena
After a good performance in the 2012 I-League U20 season, Romeo Fernandes was called up to the Indian U23 National Football Team for the 2013 AFC U22 Qualifiers held in Oman. Roma Fernandes then made his debut for the under-23 team on 28th June 2012 against the United Arab Emirates coming on as a 49th minute substitute for Shaiju Mon. Fernandes then went on to score the equalizer for the India U23 team against the UAE in the 87th minute as India U23 went on to draw the match 1-1.
