RJ Prateek is a popular Indian Radio Jockey, who is best known for his reverberating voice, his imitations of popular Bollywood and Hollywood actors as well as creating new characters from real life. An innate sense of humour is another characteristic of RJ Prateek that made him immensely popular.
RJ Prateek has worked with Fever 104 FM in New Delhi and later joined Radio Mirchi (Indore) in 2002 as DJ Sam. RJ Prateek completed his post-graduation in Business Management from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and later joined Radio Mirchi as a full-time RJ. His very entry in audio medium brought RJ Prateek incredible fame. He adopted another name - DJ Sam that is still maintained for the Saturday night club-music radio show called Club Mirchi. RJ Prateek has hosted a number of shows on Radio Mirchi (Indore), the most popular among them are Total Filmi, Bumper To Bumper and Mirchi Masti.
In October 2006, RJ Prateek shifted from Radio Mirchi to Fever 104 FM (New Delhi). At Fever 104 FM, he started hosting the evening prime-time show called Fever Drive, which included the Fever Hot 20 Countdown, a daily countdown show based on listeners` votes. RJ Prateek`s signature tags include the style in which he signs off from his shows. At the end of every show he hosts, it is customary that he will say "Love, Peace and Harmony. Good Night and Be Good". RJ Prateek quit Fever in July 2008 to join Network 18 as a TV anchor for one of their channels.
