Rizvi College, MumbaiRizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, established in the year 1992 by Dr. Akhtar Hasan Rizvi, is one of the most renowned institutes of Mumbai. Rizvi Education Society is a Public Charitable Trust established under The Societies Act 1950 and registered under the provisions of The Bombay Public Act, 1950. The main objective of Rizvi Education Society has always been promoting education at all levels. Rizvi Education Society is celebrating 25 years of education. Rizvi Education Society began with the college of Arts, Science and Commerce and Rizvi High School in the year 1982. It later expanded and branched into Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Engineering, Management Studies and Research, Law and Education.

History of Rizvi College
The foundation stone of Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce was laid by the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Late Padmabhushan Shri Vasantadada Patil on 31st March 1985. The magnificent college was constructed in a record time of two months and twelve days, which is an eloquent testimony to the skill, resourcefulness, tenacity of purpose and mighty will power of Dr. A. H. Rizvi, President and Founder of Rizvi Education Society.

Objective of Rizvi College
Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce aims at developing overall personality of students and inculcating in them the highest principles of unity and national integration. The motto of this college is `Humanise, Equalise and Spiritualise`. Rizvi Education Society is committed to the goals and objectives of national development.

Courses of Rizvi College
A range of courses are offered by the Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce to the students. Under graduate courses include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Mass Media and Bachelor of Medical Science. In the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) course, subjects like Hindi, Mass Communication, Economics, Urdu, Psychology, Philosophy and Sociology are offered. Commerce is the main subject in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) stream. Post graduation course is also offered by the Rizvi College in Master of Commerce (M.Com.). Professional courses in Engineering and Management are offered.

`Jashn-E-Rizvi` is the annual college festival. The college gives a lot of importance to sports both indoor as well as outdoor games.
