Rhea Pillai is an Indian model and also an Art of Living foundation coach, mentor instructor and brand ambassador for several products. She is the second wife of Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt.
Early Life of Rhea Pillai
Rhea Pillai was born to the financial controller of IBM Europe - Raymond Pillai. Her mother, Durreshwar Dhanrajgir was a doctor and maternal grandfather was Raja Dhanrajgir of Hyderabad. Rhea Pillai has an older sister Nina and she is also the cousin of director - producer Tarun Dhanrajgir.
Rhea Pillai`s parents divorced when she was only three years and she lived with her grandmother, who is the renowned actress Zubeida, who starred in Aalam Aara. Rhea Pillai was a student of St Hilda`s boarding school in Ooty, Tamil Nadu and studied economics at St Xavier`s College in Mumbai. Here, she was chosen as Society magazine`s face of the year.

Reports suggest that she became an airhostess for an international airline and soon left this job to become a full-time model. Rhea Pillai has acted in one Hindi film - War or Peace, released in 2003. In 2006 she had a minor screen role in the Hindi movie Corporate. She is actively involved in the Art of Living Foundation, founded by Sri Sri Ravishankar, and is an instructor for the Art of Living courses.

In 1998, Rhea married actor Sanjay Dutt, but they separated after a few years. She stated in 2006 that they remain close friends. After the divorce became official in 2008, and details of the settlement were published by the tabloid MiD DAY, the broadsheet newspaper The Telegraph criticized Pillai for her materialism and her conduct in relation to Dutt.
Awards Won by Rhea Pillai
In 2003, she was honoured as the "Woman of the Year", along with Raveena Tandon, Anoushka Shankar and Ritu Beri, on International Women`s Day. The event was promoted by Indiatimes, Asmi Diamonds and the Indian Television Academy. Pillai`s award was for social services.
