Reshikhola, KalimpongReshikhola, Kalimpong is a newly developing tourist locale in Kalimpong subdivision, in the Eastern Indian state of West Bengal. The name `Reshikhola` is obtained from Reshi River. In the Nepali language, `Khola` implies a small stream. The region of Reshikhola demarcates the division between Sikkim and West Bengal. It is a marvellous picnic spot, since it is blessed with a spectacular landscape.

Reshikhola, an emerging riverside tourist destination nestled in the Kalimpong sub division offers a soothing refuge from the frantic city life. Reshikhola is a romantic holiday destination which is overlapped by lush forests and tall grasses that are present near the beautiful Reshi River.

Located in Darjeeling District, Reshi is based about 37 km away from Kalimpong. Reshikhola is considered to be on the way to the Silk Route. From the area of Reshi, tourists can opt to visit Zuluk, Kupup, Pedong and Aritar or the Menmecho Lake. Reshikhola is situated about 105 km away from Siliguri.

How to Reach Reshikhola
Rented cars can be utilized in order to approach Reshikhola, which can also be accessed from Aritar which is 26 km away from Reshikhola and Pedong which is located at a distance of nearly 21 km from Algarah. Visitors can easily visit Reshikhola throughout the year, though it is advised that monsoons should be avoided since the roads become inconvenient that time.

Best Time to Visit Reshikhola
Reshikhola welcomes guests throughout the year. However, it is better to avoid the rainy season, as the roads do not stay in proper conditions.
