Rajiv Kapoor, Bollywood ActorRajiv Kapoor was born on 25 August, 1962 as the youngest son of famous actor and director Raj Kapoor. Rajiv Kapoor is a popular Indian film actor, producer, and director. Inspite of being a member of the legendary Kapoor Family, he did not have a long acting career.

He acted in only 13 films and thus had a short life in the Hindi film industry/Bollywood. He was not as successful as his other brothers Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. He made his debut in the movie Ek Jaan Hain Hum (1983), with Divya Rana, Shammi Kapoor, Pran, and Gulshan Grover. He is noted for his role in Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985) starring opposite Mandakini, which was one of the biggest hits of the year. He acted in a string of other films and made his last film appearance in Zimmedaar, which released in 1990. He started a career in producing and directing. He produced Henna (1991), which was directed by his brother Randhir and then made his directorial debut with Prem Granth, released in 1996 that starred his brother Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.

In 1999 he produced Aa Ab Laut Chalen, directed by his brother Rishi. That was his last act in the world of film producing or directing. In 2001, he married an architect Aarti Sabharal. However, the marriage ended with a divorce two years later.
