Raja Vishal Ka Garh is a famous tourist destination in Vaishali, Bihar. This place is believed to be the ‘Mother of Parliament’ in Bihar. This historical monument is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

Raja Vishal ka Garh, VaishaliThere is a huge mound, to the north of Vaishali. It is 6ft x 10 ft high. There are tower remains at the corners and is surrounded by a moat. The ramparts are 15 ft high. This mound is called Raja Vishal Ka Garh. The huge platform has a circumference of one km and walls that are 2metres high with 43m wide moat, which is said to have been the parliament of King Vishal. Here more than 7000 could stand at the same time. The Coronation Tank

The water of the tank was used to anoint select representatives and is very near to Raja Vishal ka Garh.
