Preeti Jhangiani, Indian ActressPreeti Jhangiani is an Indian actress whose works mainly encompasses Hindi as well as South Indian film industry. She began her career with a music album which made her popular as the `Chui Mui girl` after the song in which she was featured. Preeti has appeared in several television commercials. She has also acted in movies of many other regional film industries. Preeti marked her debut in Bollywood with the movie Mohabbatein and subsequently starred in many Hindi flicks in which her acting received positive reviews.

Early Life of Preeti Jhangiani
Preeti Jhangiani was born on 18th August 1980 in the city of Mumbai to a Sindhi family. She is the daughter of Gobind Jhangiani and Manika Jhangiani. She is fluent with multiple languages including English, Hindi, Sindhi and Kannada. She completed her education from Jai Hind College in Mumbai.

Career of Preeti Jhangiani
Preeti Jhangiani started her career in the entertainment world with a music album. She was first seen in a music album titled Yeh Hai Prem under Rajshri Productions in which she appeared alongside the South Indian actor Abbas. The album was a huge hit and the Koala bear toy used in a song became very popular. Preeti`s charming presence and innocent looks got noticed well in the album. Following this she appeared in Nirma Sandal soap advertisement replacing the Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre and many other television commercials. She made her cinematic debut as an actress with a Malayalam film titled Mazhavillu starring opposite Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban. The film was critically acclaimed. She stepped into Bollywood in the year 2000 with the Yash Raj Films Mohabbatein under the direction of Aditya Chopra in which she starred alongside Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan along with Jimmy Shergill, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Shamita Shetty and Kim Sharma. Although her debut role was a bit unconventional where she performed a young widow, she was quite appreciated for her acting skills. The movie was a blockbuster at the box office and rendered Preeti recognition in celluloid.

Preeti Jhangiani also featured in the comedy flick Awara Paagal Deewana which marked another hit of her career. Subsequently Preeti appeared in many other Hindi flicks like Waah! Tera Kya Kehna, Baaz: A Bird in Danger, LOC Kargil, Chehraa, Jaane Hoga Kya and many more but none of them performed well at the box office. Apart from Bollywood Preeti Jhangiani has also been a part of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Assamese, Begali and Urdu films and has worked with many acclaimed directors of the Indian film industry.

Personal Life of Preeti Jhangiani
Preeti Jhangiani is married to the model turned actor Parvin Dabas since 23rd March 2008. The couple is blessed with a son named Jaivesh, born in 2011.
