Tourism in Ranikhet includes both the pilgrimage tourism and the nature tourism, which is attracted by a large number of national and international tourists.

Golf course
The golf course of Ranikhet is Asia`s one of the highest situated golf courses. It is the natural nine hole course and amongst the prime attraction of Ranikhet.

Jhula-Devi Temple
This is an ancient eighth century temple of Goddess Durga. It is believed that the deity grants the desired wish that is asked for and when the desired wish is fulfilled, the people tie a bell in this temple. Adjacent to this temple, is positioned Lord Ram`s temple.

Chaubattia Garden
This place is 10 kms far from Ranikhet and it is renowned for its apple orchards; besides apple it is possible to buy pure honey and fresh fruit juice from the sales counter of the garden. Also located there is a Garden Fruit Research Centre.

Hairakhan Temple
It is 4 km far from the town of Ranikhet at Chiliyanaula where the Temple of Hairakhan is located. This temple was built by Shri Hairakhan Maharaj who is said to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva. From this place one can get a comprehensive view of the bestowed nature and the lofty Himalayan ranges.

Binsar Mahadev Temple
Binsar Mahadev temple is located at a distance of 15 kms from Ranikhet. Besides the Shiva temple, flows a stream of river in wavy motion which makes it an ideal spot of picnic.

Dronagiri Temple
Dronagiri is 52 kms from the town of Ranikhet and it shelters an 1100 century old Dronagiri temple. According to a popular belief, it is said the war that was fought between Ram and Ravana hurt Lord Rama`s brother Laxmana severely; he was injured by the arrow of Meghnadh. Lord Hanuman went to obtain Sanjivani Buti, and while returning one Sanjivani Buti fell at Dronagiri. One has to climb all the way of 400 steps to reach the temple. Five kilometres away from Dronagiri is located the Pandavakholi, which is said to be the cave where the five Pandavas resided during the exile.

Bajinath Temple
This temple shelters a black colour idol of Goddess Parvati which is an extraordinary work of art. This temple is about 70km from Ranikhet ahead of Kausani on the banks of Gomti River in the Garuda valley. At this place one can feed a large number of fishes, but here fishing is strictly prohibited.

Katarmal (Sun Temple)
This temple is located 25km away from Ranikhet. There are only two temples of Lord Sun one is the temple of Konark at Orissa and another one is this temple. This temple is an ancient twelfth century creation and is now preserved under the Archaeological Survey of India. Its idol is placed at the National Museum, Delhi.

Chamarkhan
It is about 20km and arrives in the en route to Binsar Mahadev. It is renowned for Golu Devta and for bells that are tied up in the temple by the devotees.
