PD Hinduja College of Economics and Commerce in Mumbai was established 1974 with 400 students.

PD Hinduja College of Economics and Commerce, New Chrani Road, MumbaiP.D Hinduja College was started in the year 1974 by late Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja. Shri Hinduja was an illustrious businessman who believed that, "My dharma is to work so that I can give". With this belief he established the Smt. P. D. Hinduja Trust in 1944 under the aegis of which was established the college. Over the years the college has literally and figuratively grown from strength to strength. The college began with a modest 400 students and had reached a figure of about 4000 by the year 2005.

USP of the College:
The Literary and Debating society of the College is well known. The college organizes Aiyana- a festival for BMM students. The college also promotes bird watching, nature trail hikes and stargazing, which is arranged by the club and hiking committee.
