Parno Mittra, Bengali ActressParno Mittra is a Bengali film actress and also a television actress. Currently, she is one of the most popular Bengali actresses in the Tollywood film industry and has worked with prominent directors like Anjan Dutta, Kaushik Ganguly and Srijit Mukherjee. She is from Kolkata who came into prominence with her 2011 Bengali film "Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona" directed by Anjan Dutta.

Career of Parno Mittra
Parno Mittra started her career as an actress in television. She worked in few television serials such as "Khela" and "Mohona" in Zee Bangla which aired in the year 2008. In her entire acting career, Parno Mittra has acted in a total of 4 television series including Bou Kotha Kou, which aired in STAR Jalsha and played the second lead. Another of her famous television role was in Shomoy, where she starred opposite Abir Chatterjee.

Parno Mittra, Bengali ActressIn 2011, Parno Mitra made her debut in the National Award winning Bengali film "Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona" directed by Anjan Dutta. She won the Star Guide Awards and Zee Gaurav Awards for her performance in this film. In 2012, she acted in Mainak Bhaumik"s Bengali film "Bedroom" which was a commercial success. In 2013, Parno starred opposite Parambrata Chatterjee as Ashima in the Kaushik Ganguly directorial movie Apur Panchali, which was screened at the 44th International Film Festival of India. Some of her other notable films are Bedroom, Ami Aar Amar Girlfriends, Maach Mishti More and Ekla Akash. She played a double role in Glamour. In 2017, she acted in the Bangladeshi director Mostafa Sarwar Farooki`s bilingual international film featuring Irrfan Khan and Rokeya Prachy called No Bed of Roses or Doob.

Personal Life of Parno Mittra
Born on 31st October, 1989 in Siliguri, Parno Mittra"s father worked in Arunachal Pradesh and she spent a majority of her childhood there. Her early years of education are from the Dow Hill School in Kurseong in Darjeeling and later in the Pratt Memorial School in Kolkata. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Calcutta.
