Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University, ChhatisgarhPandit Sundarlal Sharma was established on 20 January 2005. It was named after Sundarlal Sharma, a freedom and social justice fighter.

The university is structured into the following faculties:

Faculty of Commerce
Faculty of Education
Faculty of Computer Science
Faculty of Yoga, Jyotish and Vastu

The regional centres were established at Bilaspur, Raipur, Ambikapur and Jagdalpur.
