Panchghagh Falls is one of the most unique waterfalls of Ranchi. It has five streams to it. The waterfall is popular among tourists and locals as these falls and their streams are easily accessible through cemented pathways. This accessibility enables tourists to spend some soothing time in the company of pristine, gushing water.

The Panchghagh Falls is unique in comparison to Dassam Falls, Jonha falls, Hirni falls and Hundru waterfalls around Ranchi. The waters of Panchghagh falls does not fall from great heights but as one approaches near it the roar of the water can be heard. The fact that the water falls from a lesser height makes it safe for people to enjoy in the swift flow of water. The sight of the five branched-out swirling streams that hit the rocks is stunning. The water flowing through the pebbles lucidly is a treat to the eyes.

The waterfall is surrounded by five remote jungle-villages, Kolamda, Kodakel, Kurki and Ghaghari. The road towards Panchghagh Falls is bordered by hills and tall trees. Thick slate slabs poured silver rain on these hills and trees. The water falling from a lesser height makes it a safer place for tourists to enjoy in the rapid flow of water. The waterfall and its surrounding are ideal for picnic with family and friends.

Connectivity to Panchghagh Falls
The waterfall is well connected via roadway. It is 5 kilometres from Khunti on the road to Simdega and 55 kilometres from Ranchi. Khunti is on NH 75 or Ranchi-Chaibasa Highway.
