The Pambar Reservoir is built on the Pambar River, which originates from the Idukki District of Keral, but later flows into the state of Tamil Nadu. Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary lies close to this reservoir. Thoovanam Waterfalls and Kumbakarai waterfalls are also the nearby attractions of the Pambar Reservoir. The reservoir stands at an altitude of 1,400 feet.
