The water cascades from a height of 492 feet and the froth and mist created has a rejuvenating effect on the visitors to the place. Palani Waterfall is known for its exotic beauty which elaborates the scenic beauty of the nature.

There is a festival at the place during the month of March and thousands of devotees gather around the falls to bathe in the sacred waters. This is also a famous picnic spot for the residents of the neighbouring towns and Villages.
