Chennai Super Kings or CSK is a franchisee cricket team that is based in the city of Chennai in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu. The team is a part of the Indian Premier League. Chennai team has been the champions for two consecutive times (2010 and 2011) and runners up for 2008 and 2009 editions. The home matches for Kings XI Punjab is played the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, and ever since 2010 IPL, the team has been playing at theDharamshala Cricket Stadium in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Reliance Industries Limited bought the rights for the Mumbai franchisee of the IPL for a total of 441 Cr during the auction on 24 January 2008. After lots of deliberation, the team was named Mumbai Indians. The RIL bid made the Mumbai Indians the most expensive franchise in the 2007 IPL auction. However the 2011 auction saw the Sahara Pune Warriors team purchased by Subroto Roy taking that title of the most expensive buy. The team is owned by Nita Ambani.

The franchise is owned by Sanjiv Goenka-led New Rising. Royal Challengers Bangalore, or RCB as it is also called, is a cricket franchisee in the Indian Premier League, which is based in the Indian city of Bengaluru. Presently, team RCB is led by Virat Kohli and coached by South African Ray Jennings. The team is owned by Vijay Mallya, through his flagship firm UB Group. The director of the team is Sidhartha Mallya.
Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals is a Rajasthan based franchisee in the Indian Premier League situated in the city of Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals is terminated temporarily from 2016 Indian Premier League for the 2013 IPL spot fixing charges.
