Junior Level  National Football TournamentsThere are a number of junior level trophies other than the main national tournaments. These are as follows-

Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy: This is the under nineteen national championship. The All India Football Federation instituted the Junior National Football Tournament for the B.C.Roy Trophy. This trophy was launched in the year 1962. The IFA presented this champion trophy in the memory of former Bengal Chief Minister Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy (B.C.Roy). The then president of IFA, Mr. M. Dutta Ray presented the runner up trophy named as Mohan Dutta Ray trophy.

This tournament is meant for the players under 19 years old. Bengal has won the trophy for sixteen times and was the runner up for two times. Kerala is 3 times winner and 5 times runner up. Karnataka won the trophy 4 times and runner up only one time while Andhra Pradesh is the 2 times winner and 6 times runner up.

Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy: This is the under sixteen national championship. The sub junior National Football Championship was launched in 1977. Initially the tournament was meant for the boy`s less than 15 years. Now the age limit has been increased for 16 years. The Karnataka Football Association presents the trophy. In the meeting held in Darjeeling on June 12 and 13, 1976 the decision was taken to inaugurate this tournament.

Junior Level  National Football Tournaments Bengal wins Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy for ten times and was the runner up for the four times. Bihar is the winner for four times, Assam for three times and Goa wins two times.

Dutta Ray Trophy : This is the championship for under 21 years players. The trophy was inaugurated in the year 1992 for the state teams. So far Bengal has won the trophy for four times and runner up for the seven times. Goa has won the trophy three times and runner up for one time. Kerala and Punjab each won one time and Indian Railways won two times.

Trades Cup - The Trades Cup was the first open football tournament in India that was launched in the year 1889 and is the second oldest tournament in the country after Durand Cup.
