Nithin Sathya, Tamil Movie ActorNithin Sathya is an Indian film actor working in the Tamil Cinema. His first appearance was as “Sridhar” in the Tamil film "Kalatpadai" in 2003. His breakthrough was not until 2007 when he essayed a notable role in Tamil sports comedy "Chennai 600028", directed by Venkat Prabhu, where he donned the character of “Pazhani”. Since then he has been cast in diverse roles in Tamil films, that of a villain in "Satham Podathey" (2007), in supporting roles in "Raman Thediya Seethai" (2008) and in the leading role in "Pandhayam" (2008) and "Muthirai" (2009).

Early Life of Nithin Sathya
Nithin Sathya was born on January 9, 1980 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in London. He went to London for pursuing MBA and thereafter worked for a multinational corporation. Nithin Sathya had also represented Tamil Nadu at the National Level in Bowling, in 1998-99. He also has interest in badminton and swimming.

Career of Nithin Sathya
Nithin Sathya first got a chance to play a minor role in 2002"s British sports film "Bend It Like Beckham" and in the 2003 Tamil film "Kalatpadai". Later, he was offered to dance in a song in director Saran`s 2004 Tamil comedy "Vasool Raja MBBS", and also later acted in a small role in the film "Dreams" and "Ji", alongside Tamil stars Dhanush and Ajith Kumar respectively.

The immensely successful cult film saw Nithin in the role of street cricket player “Pazhani”. He was subsequently seen playing the role of an impotent jealous husband in Vasanth"s psychological thriller "Satham Podathey", which received rave reviews upon release. He was next seen in the lead in 2008 Tamil film "Thozha", where he portrayed the character “Raja”. He made a cameo appearance as “Lakshmi Gopal” in Venkat Prabhu"s 2008 comedy thriller "Saroja". He subsequently played a student and ardent Vijay fan in S. A. Chandrasekhar"s "Pandhayam", which was unsuccessful. He was next seen in the lead character of a reformed thief “Gunasekhar” in K. P. Jagannath"s drama film "Raman Thediya Seethai". In 2009, he was seen as “Sathyamoorthy” in the thriller movie "Muthirai", and as an auto driver “Prabhu” in "Palaivana Solai", a remake of the 1982 film of the same title. In "Mayanginen Thayanginen", he played a taxi driver who falls in love with a call centre girl, whom he has not met.

Nithin was seen in the supporting role of “Hari” in Venkat Prabhu"s 2013 crime comedy "Biriyani" and that of the zoo keeper “Kadhir” in 2014 comedy thriller "Enna Satham Indha Neram". He played the character of “Muliankannan” in the Tamil horror comedy ensemble "Aranmanai", which received fairly positive reviews. He was also seen in Tamil films "Thirudan Police", "Moone Moonu Varthai" and "Pandiyoda Galatta Thaangala". In 2016 and 2017, the actor"s other projects included action films like "Pandigai" and "S3", the sequel to "Chennai 600028" titled "Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings" and "Ammani". He has also worked in short films "Vellai Pookal", "Agalya 201" and "Kadal Rasa". The movie "Jarugandi" was also produced by Nithin Satya in 2018.
