Neha Sharma is an Indian film actress and model who has appeared in Bollywood films "Crook: It`s Good To Be Bad", "Teri Meri Kahaani", "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" and more, whilst also having acted in a few Telugu movies. She made her acting debut in the year 2007 with the Telugu film "Chirutha", featuring opposite debutant Ram Charan Teja. The film earned her fame and she went on to star in multiple Hindi films, making her debut with the 2010 Mohit Suri film "Crook: It`s Good To Be Bad", opposite Emraan Hashmi.
Early Life and Education of Neha Sharma
Neha Sharma was born on November 21, 1987 in the city of Bhagalpur in Bihar. She attended Mount Carmel School in Bhagalpur, and later pursued a course in Fashion Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi.
Film Career of Neha Sharma
Neha Sharma made her debut in films in 2007 with the Telugu action film "Chirutha", alongside Ravi Charan Teja, son of the popular Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, who also made his debut in the film. Neha played the female lead character Sanjana, and was noticed for her dance skills, acting and beauty in the film. The film received mixed reviews but made profitable business completing 100 days in 40 direct centres. She was next seen donning the role of Hema in film "Kurradu", alongside Varun Sandesh, which was the Telugu remake of 2007 Tamil film "Polladhavan", starring Dhanush and Divya Spandana. The film, however, could not repeat the success of its original.
In 2010, Neha ventured into Bollywood, featuring in Mukesh Bhatt"s adult thriller "Crook: It`s Good To Be Bad", as Suhani alongside Emraan Hashmi and Arjan Bajwa in the lead. The film was received with a mixed response upon release but was a box office flop. She was next seen in 2012, making a cameo appearance in Kunal Kohli"s romance drama "Teri Meri Kahaani" that featured Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Neha played Meera, the initial love interest of Shahid"s character in one of the eras in which the film is divided. The same year, she starred in Ekta Kapoor"s 2012 sex comedy "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum", the sequel to the 2005 successful comedy film "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum". The film, featuring the actress as the parallel female lead Simran, opened to a fairly positive response as did Neha"s performance and good box office collections, eventually being declared as a "semi-hit" at the box office. Neha was also seen in the crime romantic comedy film "Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story", opposite Vivek Oberoi, and "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2", opposite Bobby Deol.
Neha Sharma featured in the lead as Anwita Chauhan opposite Jackky Bhagnani in "Youngistaan", released in March 2014. The actress also featured in the 2016 Buddhism-themed Chinese-Indian historical adventure film "Xuanzang", based on Xuanzang`s 17-year overland journey to India during the Tang dynasty in the 17th century. It released in Hindi and Mandarin languages. She was last seen in Shirish Kunder"s 2016 short film "Kriti", a psychological thriller where she featured alongside Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte and Manu Rishi. Neha will be seen in the third instalment of "Hera Pheri" comedy film series titled "Hera Pheri 3", directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Feroz Nadiadwala, slated to be released in 2017. Actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal will reprise their roles from the previous films. She will also play the lead in the sequel to the 2001 super hit film "Tum Bin", titled "Tum Bin 2" to be directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Neha, along with Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati have been finalised to portray the lead roles, after over 1500 screen tests by the director. The film began its principal photography in April 2016 and will be entirely shot in Scotland. The full soundtrack will be composed by Ankit Tiwari. It is scheduled to be released on November 18, 2016.
