Narsapur is a town, Mandal and a municipality in West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. Its geographical coordinates are 16degree 27` 0" north and 81degree 40` 0" east. The name of the town was originally "Narasapuram." It was also known as "Nrusimhapuri" and "AbhinavaBhootapuri".

There are two ancient and magnificent churches located here that were constructed during the British Period. Kovela temple built by Sri Puppala Ramanappa Naidu garu is a big Vishnava temple located here.
