Muthupet Dargah, Muthupet, Tiruvarur DistrictOne of the oldest Muslim structures in the Indian subcontinent, the Muthupet Dargah is known by various names, like the Sheik Dawood Kamlil Valyullah Dargah and Jambavanodai Dargah. It is located in the town of Muthupet in the Tiruvarur District of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. This Islamic shrine is believed to be over 700 years old and is built using traditional architecture. Irrespective of caste, creed and religion, any person can visit this holy shrine.
