History Of Music India
After the roaring success of Sangeet Bangla, India`s no.1 Bengali Music Channel, Sangeet Bangla Network Private Limited had started a Hindi Music Channel, Music India, which is supported by Subrata Roy, of Sahara One Media and Entertainment. The channel was launched in 2006, backed by much publicity.

Music India presents not only true value content but also provides an over-all view of Hindi music and the Hindi film industry. All sorts of music are aired on the channel ranging from Rock to Raga, Retro to Remix and from Bhangra to Pop music. It also celebrated Children`s Day in the year 2006 and on the 14 and 20 November, it was transformed into a platform that is "for the children, of the children and by the children. Special guests Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao (from the movie Vivah) and Shreyas Talpade (from the movie Iqbaal) brightened up the day for kids. Another treat to add to the fun was brought to viewers on Judwaa hosted by identical twins, Aanya and Manya playing back-to-back Hindi songs.
