Muhammad SadiqMuhammad Sadiq is a Punjabi term and is, under certain cases, spelled as Sadeeq, Saddiq or Siddiq, is a noted Punjabi singer and is also an actor of East Punjab (India). He is best known for his duets with singer Ranjit Kaur. He has also tested the juice of politics by contesting in Punjab Assembly Elections 2012 as a candidate of Indian National Congress from Bhadaur, where he actually won.

Early Life And Career Of Muhammad Sadiq
Muhammad Sadiq was born in a Muslim family in the year 1942, to mother Parsinni and father Ustad Vilayat Khan, in the village of Rampur in the Indian state of Punjab, during the British rule in India. His uncle was actually a folk singer who indeed inspired him a lot. In the year 1947, when India gained independence, there was a riot that broke out in Punjab, his family had a hard time and left the village and settled at Malerkotla. He has sung with many female singers of Punjab including Surinder Kaur but make a duo with Ranjit Kaur.

About family, he is married and has six daughters
