MotherMother"s Wax Museum India of Kolkata is located in eastern part of the city. This museum in Rajarhat covers an area of 5000 square feet area. Wax Museum India of Kolkata is placed on the top floor of Finance Centre building, which is located just opposite to the New Town Eco Park in New Town, Kolkata. The New Town Eco Park area is well developed area in Kolkata where one can spend the time in the midst of silence, if anyone will follow the escapade.


Statues at Mother"s Wax Museum
In Mother"s Wax Museum India, there are now 19 life size wax statues of famous personalities like Kavi Nazrul Islam, Rabindranath Tagore, Mamata Banerjee and the Bollywood personalities like Amithabh Bachhan and Shahrukh Khan.

The statues of the Mother"s Wax Museum India of Kolkata are erected by the veteran wax sculptor of Bengal, Susanta Ray. Susanta Ray is a gold medallist from Indian Art College, Kolkata in the year 1980. Other wax statues in Wax Museum India of Kolkata are Mithun Chakraborty, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. One can also find the wax statues of famous Bengali film stalwarts Suchitra Sen and Uttam Kumar. The statue of famous Bengali colonial scientist Jagdish Chandra Bose, who is also sharing space with sporting legends Diego Maradona and Sourav Ganguly. Wax Museum India of Kolkata presently features wax figures of famous personalities including Joyti Bose and Sachin Tendulkar, President of India- Pranab Mukherjee and many more famous personalities of India, West Bengal and the world also. With all these, the Wax Museum India of Kolkata becomes the absolute mix and conglomeration of famous world and the Indian characters. Wax Museum India of Kolkata is attracted not only to the domestic and local tourist, but also it attracts the foreign tourists also.

Foundation of Mother"s Wax Museum India of Kolkata
Mother"s Wax Museum India of Kolkata was inaugurated on 10th November 2014, after a year of work, by the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO). Now Mother"s Wax Museum India of Kolkata has no dedicated website and hardly any publicity campaign was run prior to the inauguration.
