Mora Fort is located in Nashik District, Maharashtra on the Selbari hill range. The fort is almost in ruins now. It includes few rock-cut cisterns, caves and two rock cut gates.

Mora Fort, Nashik District, MaharashtraMora Fort, also known as Moragad Fort, is located in the Baglan area of Nashik District, Maharashtra on the Selbari hill range. The fort was built to keep watch on the Burhanpur-Surat ancient commercial road. This small fort is located near to the Mulher Fort. Mora Fort is now in almost dilapidated state with few rock-cut cisterns, caves and two rock cut gates. The pathway to the fort is made out of rock cut steps. Mangi-Tungi, Salher, Salota, Hargad, Mulher, Nhavigad Forts can be seen from the Mora Fort.

Visiting Information to Mora Fort
Nasik Road Railway Station and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport are the nearest to visit the Mora Fort. Mumbai Nashik Expressway connects Mumbai to the district. One can take a vehicle up to, from where it takes an hour to walk and reach the fort.
