Mohanlal Sukhadia University consists of four constituent colleges and 60 affiliated colleges from the districts of Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Banswara, Dungarpur and Sirohi. The earlier agricultural University was turned into a multi-faculty university in 1964 and thereafter named as University of Udaipur. It was renamed as Mohanlal Sukhadia University in 1984. It is accredited at 5 stars level by UGC "NAAC".
