Mohammed Rafi is a technically savvy footballer with good ball skills, a poacher"s instincts and also has a good shot, which makes him a fearsome forward when he is on force. After the short lived Mumbai Tigers shut shop and a short on loan stint with Mumbai Football Club last season, Mohammed Rafi played as the footballer of Atletico de Kolkata.

Early Life of Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi was born on 24th May in the year 1982. He is an Indian professional football player from Trikaripur in Kasaragod District of Kerala. He is currently playing for Mumbai FC as a striker in the I-League.

Career of Mohammed Rafi
In 2009-2010 I-league, Mohammed Rafi played well. He finished the season with record 14 goals, which was best ever for an Indian striker. He was also adjudged as the player of the year from Mahindra United. His younger brothers Mohammad Shafi, who plays for Viva Kerala FC and Mohammad Razi played with KSEB following his example.

On 24th November 2013, it was announced that Mohammed Rafi has signed for Mumbai on loan from IMG Reliance with three other players Khelemba Singh, N.P. Pradeep and Peter Costa. Mohammed Rafi made his debut on 2nd December 2013 against East Bengal F.C. at the Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune in which he played the whole match as Mumbai Football Club won the match 3-2.
