Mavoor also spelt, as Mavur is one of the largest hamlets situated in Calicut district of the southern state of India, Kerala. Mavoor is located in the southeast of Calicut at a distance of 20 kms. It is encircled by the towns of Kakkayam in the west, Kunnamangalam and Tazhekkod in the north, Valakkad in the east and Feroke in the south.
The nearest `access points` are the Feroke Railway Station and Kozhikode Railway Station and the Calicut airport in the south of Mavoor at a distance of 14 kms.
