Marble Rocks is an area along Narmada River at Bhedaghat of Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh. 21 km west of Jabalpur, is a small village called Bhedaghat. The village is world famous for splendid Marble Rocks on the banks of Narmada River. The place exhibits an unmatched serenity. It is a popular Indian tourist destination.

Geography of Marble Rocks
The Marble Rocks towering nearly 100 ft high above the flowing river has carved the soft marble, creating a beautiful gorge of about 3 km in length.

The waterfalls along the marbles and rocks create a mist-like effect, giving the look of smoke erupting from the water, making it a mesmerizing sight to see. This massive white water gushing down creates the waterfall that erodes the rocks and forms the gorge known as the "Dhuandhar Waterfall".

Best Time to Visit Marble Rocks
The best time to visit and experience the best of the Marble Rocks is between mid-October and April. The weather is pleasant at this time of the year. Monsoons should strictly be avoided, as boating, one of the most recommended activities at the Marble Rocks, is shut from July till mid-October.

Jabalpur has its own domestic airport and receives regular flights from Delhi, Bhopal and other major cities of India. Jabalpur railhead is situated on the main Mumbai -Howrah line and most trains on this line have a stop here. There are overnight trains running from Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. Transport Buses from almost all cities of Madhya Pradesh frequent to Jabalpur.
