Manasi Joshi Roy is an Indian television actress. She is mostly known for her roles in the popular daily soaps Kkusum and Saaya. She hosted a show named Bol Bollywood, which was telecasted in Star Movies. In 2005 she participated in Nach Baliye with her husband Rohit Roy. Manasi has done a film as well named Alibaug.

Manasi was born on 23rd March 1976 in Mumbai. Her father was Arvind Joshi who worked as a writer and director in Gujrati Theater and her mom was an actress. She did her first professional play under her father`s direction while she was still in her college. After she completed her graduation in Psychology she started getting a lot of offers for films and modelling.

Manasi did her debut in television industry with Gaatha on Star Plus. It was produced and directed by Ramesh Sippy to commemorate the 50 years of independence in 1997. Then she was seen in Saaya in the year 1999. Her character was named Sudha in the daily soap. After that she was seen in the daily soap Gharwali Uparwali. In the year 2004, she acted in the Hindi serial Kkusum, which was the most popular TV serial in her career. The show was telecasted in Sony Entertainment Television. Manasi was in the lead role in the serial. In 2005, she was seen in the dance reality show Nach Baliye with her husband Rohit Roy. Nach Baliye was telecasted in Star Plus channel. In 2017, she portrayed the role of Madhuri (Piyush"s mom) in Dhhai Kilo Prem; it was telecasted on Star Plus channel. Manasi Joshi Roy has done a Bollywood movie as well named Alibaug. Alibaug, directed by Sanjay Gupta, was released in the year 2015. Apart from the serials, Manasi has hosted a TV show in Star Movies channel called Bol Bollywood.

Manasi is married to Rohit Roy, who is also a popular television and film actor. The couple has a daughter named Kiara Bose Roy. Popular Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi is her brother.
