Mamata Medical College has an annual intake of 100 students, out of which 85 percent seats are reserved for allotment by the N.T.R. University of Health Sciences through "EAMCET" counselling.

Mamata Educational Society was recognized in May 1992 by Sri Puvvada Nageswara Rao. He is a renowned politician, a social worker and by dedication an educationist and philanthropist of good reputation. Puvvada Nageswara Rao has been the Member of Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh representing Khammam District from the year 1989 to 1999. He also represented the Legislative Council from the year 1981 to 1985 and again from 2006 to 2011. Now Sri Puvvada Nageswara Rao is continuing his social service activities and invaluable services to Mamata Educational Society.
