Mamata Medical College (MMC) offers graduation, post graduation and the doctoral programmes to the students. This educational institution has libraries, Lecture Halls, auditorium, laboratory, museums, hostels, filed for sports and games, gymnasium and fitness centre and food court.

Mamata Medical College (MMC) is situated in Khammam District of Telangana. The MMC, Khammam is located in Khammam, a town that is well connected to the major cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam by rail and road.

Mamata Medical College (MMC) was established by Philanthropists, Social Workers and group of Doctors with an objective of promoting education in Medicine, Dental, Technical, Management and other Para Medical courses.

Evolution of Mamata Medical College (MMC)
The first 3 batches of MBBS students were admitted in the Mamata Medical College (MMC), Khammam District in the years of 1998, 1999 and 2000. Mamata Medical College has an annual intake of 100 students, out of which 85 percent seats are reserved for allotment by the N.T.R. University of Health Sciences through "EAMCET" counselling.

Mamata Medical College with Medical Council of India
Medical Council of India (MCI) has given recognition to the Mamata Medical College (MMC), Khammam and the college is affiliated to the N.T.R. University of Health Sciences.

Hospital in Mamata Medical College
There is a hospital adjacent to the Mamata Medical College, named the Mamata General hospital and the hospital has bed strength of 500 seats. The hospital acts as a teaching hospital for the students of Mamata Medical College (MMC), Khammam, where the students can go and do internship in their respective disciplines.

Mamata Educational Society
Mamata Educational Society was recognized in May 1992 by Sri Puvvada Nageswara Rao. He is a renowned politician, a social worker and by dedication an educationist and philanthropist of good reputation. Puvvada Nageswara Rao has been the Member of Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh representing Khammam District from the year 1989 to 1999. He also represented the Legislative Council from the year 1981 to 1985 and again from 2006 to 2011. Now Sri Puvvada Nageswara Rao is continuing his social service activities and invaluable services to Mamata Educational Society.
