Madhogarh Fort is in the Madhogarh village, located 42 kilometers from Jaipur off the Jaipur-Agra National Highway (NH 11), in Rajasthan. It was built by Madho Singh Ji, a Rajput of the Kachhawaha clan, nearly 400 years ago. Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II, the ruler of Jaipur from 1835 to 1880, was married in Madhogarh family and gave Madhogarh as a hereditary estate to Thakur Pratap Singh Ji, a Rajput of the Bhati clan.

Present owner Thakur Bhawani Singh, the fourth generation direct descendant of the family owning the fortress, saw their architectural asset heading to a state of ruins with the efflux of time, and initiated a project to rebuild and convert it into a family run heritage hotel.
