Madhavrao Temple
Madhavpur is the ancient and mythological important place in Gujarat. In Madhavpur, there is a 15th century old temple of Madhavraoji who is a form of Lord Krishna. The original temple has been badly damaged in attacks by Muslim invaders in the early phase of medieval times (1191 to 1192 AD that is from the time of Battle of Tarain). However a ruined structure is still present there and became the place of archaeological importance. The ruined structure of the temple gives idea of original undamaged temple. A new temple is constructed for worship, which is now adjacent to the old ancient ruined temple of Madhavrao.
