The Kutch Mahotsav is a popular festival of Kutchh celebrated in the Indian state of Gujarat. Kutch Mahotsav is normally organized during the month of February and March every year. It is a six-day tour into the heartlands of Kutch which is organized by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat.
The tour incorporates a visit to different places like Bhuj at the heart of Kutchh, Mata no Madh, an old temple dedicated to the mother goddess believed to be 1200 years old. The Mahotsav also takes to Lakhpat, a deserted port that transports the visitor to a time when it was once the hub of Gujarat`s flourishing sea trade. The Mahotsav also goes for a tour to the Narayan Sarovar which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage locations for Hindus.
The Kutchh Mahotsav also includes in its visit the beaches of Mandvi, Dhola Vira`s archaeological ruins.

The Tourism Corporation of Gujarat, Ltd. (TCGL) organize this unusual tour of Kutchh, in response to the request of many who desired to visit an area quite different from urban India. This tour was called a Mahotsava, or great festival, because of the great variety of sights and scenes that are offered to visitors. The Mahotsava consists of a six-day tour of Katchh, in which all requirements of the visitors are taken care of.
