Kushal Tandon is an Indian model turned actor. He is from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. He went to the United States to study in the "New York Film Academy". He played the role of "Virat Singh Vadhera" in the television series "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai". During the show he cut off his hair to show his support for a bald young Cancer patient. Kushal Tandon was the first runner-up of "Grasim Mr. India" contest held in January 2005.
Early Life of Kushal Tandon
Kushal Tandon was born on 28 March 1985 in Lucknow to Sandhya Tandon and Billu Tandon. He did his schooling from Scindia Boarding School and then joined Hans Raj College in Delhi. Kushal was an avid sportsman at school; he was the captain of the swim team, a state level hockey champion and a soccer player in his school years.

Kushal Tandon had always dreamt of a career in the entertainment industry and has been a movie buff since childhood. He started modelling at an early age and in 2003 at the only age of 18-19 years. He became a runner up of "Grasim Mr. India" contest and at the age of 22 years, he was the runner up of "Mr. India 2005". Later, he went to the United States to study in the New York Film Academy. He started his acting career with Star Plus"s daily show "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai". He played the character of "Virat", a son of a rich family in Chandigarh.
Kushal Tandon participated in "Nach Baliye 5" along with partner Elena Boeva. He was rated No. 6 in the Eastern Eye UK magazine"s "50 Sexiest Asian Man 2012". In 2013 he participated in the 17th season of the reality television show "Bigg Boss". Viewers signed petitions to return Tandon to the show. Kushal Tandon was one of the contestants in "Khatron Ke Khiladi" Season 5". Kushal Tandon also did ramp walks for many fashion shows namely Provogue, Spykar, Giordano and the Lakme India Fashion Week etc. He has worked on many ads with big brands such as Sony Ericsson, Skoda, Activia, Airtel, Dairy Milk, Eva Deodorant, Reid and Taylor, Kawasaki, Bajaj etc. In 2016 he was seen in the daily soap Beyhadh, which was telecasted in Sony TV channel. Kushal has done a web series as well named Hum - I`m Because of Us in the year 2018.
