Kshipra Prasada Ganapati is the twentieth form amongst the thirty-two forms of Lord Ganesha. It is believed that He promptly fulfills the wishes of His devotees and removes all obstructions from their paths. He also punishes those who walk on the path of Adharma. Kshipra Prasada Ganapati is depicted with crimson red complexion and is adorned with ornaments. He also has a third eye on the forehead and a crescent moon above His head like His father Lord Shiva. In this form, Lord Ganesha has six arms and is seated on a throne of Kusha grass. The pot belly of the Hindu deity is an embodiment of the universe.
Lord Kshipra Prasada Ganapati carries His own broken tusk in the main right hand and the twig of Kalpavriksha (wish-fulfilling tree) on His main left hand. Lord Ganesha also holds an elephant goad, a white lotus, a noose and a pomegranate.
When a person worships this form of the Lord, he is blessed with success and peace. Moreover, regular meditation on Kshipra Prasada Ganapati helps a person to overcome all obstacles in the path of self- realization. Some of the popular temples of this deity are Pillayarpatti Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, and the temples of Lord Ganesha in Nanjangud and Chamarajanagar in Mysore, Karnataka.
