Krodhavasa
Krodhavasa is the daughter of Daksha and wife of Kashyapa. The flesh-eating demons, the Pishachas are her children.

Krodhavasa, Daughter of DakshaKrodhavasa is daughter of Prajapati Daksha and one of the wives of the great Sage Kashyapa. She is the mother of all sharp-toothed monsters, residing on the earth, amongst the birds, or in the waters, that were devourers of flesh. As she was very short-tempered, the children born to her were ferocious animals, birds and fishes, all monsters species with sharp teeth.

Descendants of Krodhavasa
Krodhavasa had 10 daughters; namely Mrigi, Mrigamanda, Harl, Bhadramata, Matarigl, Sarduli, Sveta, Surabhi, Sarasa and Kadru.

According to Vanaparva of Mahabharata, some of the sons of Krodhavasa worked as guards at Kubera"s lotus lake. It is also said that the sons of Krodhavasa worked in the army of Ravana in the epic of Ramayana. The sons born of Krodhavasa were the serpents known as "Dandasuka", as well as other serpents and the mosquitoes. The flesh-eating demons, the Pishachas are her children.
