Krishnabai Temple of Mahabaleshwar is an age old temple, located near Panchganga Temple.
Krishnabai Temple is positioned just a few hundred meters away from the Panchganga Temple. Krishnabai temple is supposed to be source of the Krishna River.
The temple is quite old and surprisingly clean, in spite of being in ruins. This temple is attracted by the photographers because the temple is very photogenic. Right behind the Car parking slot for the Panchganga temple, there is a small well-marked trail which takes the tourists to the Krishnabai temple.
The trail takes the tourists through the woods, but the view from the temple would be something out of the blue. Truly, the best view has been reserved for the lord. Near the Krishnabai Temple, there is a point called Kates Point which looks like an elephant. This is an elephant shaped rock.
